How to maintain a consistent brand across diverse company websites

When a single brand umbrella covers several companies with distinct focuses, it faces a major challenge in its digital presence: maintaining a consistent visual and communication style across websites that speak to very different audiences.

And it's a real challenge. Inconsistency undermines trust. When each part of the group communicates differently, when the websites look like they came from different planets, the brand as a whole starts to lose credibility. But when distinct websites within one group feel visually and structurally aligned, it reinforces a sense of professionalism, stability, and strength.

Consistency doesn't mean identical colors, slogans, or design components. What really matters is the overall impression—the emotions evoked, the message that stays with the visitor. That deeper coherence is what signals: "these brands belong together."

And yet, the reality is even more complex. Each company under the brand typically targets a different customer. They need to say different things, in different ways, using a tone tailored to their audience. The key lies in striking the right balance between a shared brand framework and clearly differentiated content.

This was precisely the challenge we addressed when designing a web ecosystem for ResInvest Group, a brand that brings together three companies – each operating in a distinct space: ResInvest Group, EP Resources, and RE Polska.

One brand. Three industries. Three target audiences.

ResInvest Group, the parent brand, represents strategy and stability. EP Resources focuses on the transportation and trading of commodities. RE Polska operates cogeneration energy facilities.

Each of these websites had a different content structure, business goals, and user base. Our task was to create a system that:

  • Maintains technical and visual consistency
  • Allows each brand to speak with its own voice
  • And strengthens the group's overall brand identity

A shared foundation, built to flex

Consistency wasn't just about design. It was embedded in copywriting, content structure, and the brand's communication across different sites. We delivered a modular system with shared DNA:

  • A responsive and modern web design
  • Seamless implementation of a unified visual identity (based on the brand guidelines by Ateliér Židlický)
  • Content tailored to the individual company's offering and tone
  • Interactive elements like a particle-based header and an activity map
  • CMS customization for easy content updates and page creation,
  • And a setup ready for future growth and scaling

Each site is different. And yet, they feel like one brand

For ResInvest Group and EP Resources, we turned the client-provided brand presentations into fully functional, interactive websites. For RE Polska, we worked with a visual concept prepared by Ateliér Židlický and developed a responsive, usable digital version.

Each site goes as deep as needed. The ResInvest Group site is abstract and brand-focused – building the group's positioning. EP Resources is product-oriented, showcasing specific commodities and transport services. RE Polska emphasizes technical specifications, regulatory information, and infrastructure.

The content may differ, but all three websites follow the same logic, tone, and visual rhythm. So while each visitor finds exactly what they need, they also feel part of a single, trusted brand.

The result: cohesive digital presence, strong brand, future-proof structure

The final product is a family of three distinct, yet clearly connected websites. Each one is professional, easy to navigate, and built around the real business of each brand.

They serve as digital business cards – blending polished representation with the technical readiness to evolve. Clients can manage their content independently, update documents, or even build new pages from pre-configured blocks.

To top it off, interactive elements like a dynamic particle header (which reacts to mouse movement) or a clickable world map visually reinforce the brand's scale and modernity.
