Young Czech croquet players have earned a historic opportunity to represent our country at the 2025 U21 Golf Croquet World Championship from April 14 to 18 in Florida. As a proud partner of the Czech national croquet team, MFG will be there. This tournament unlocks a massive opportunity for our young athletes to shine on the global stage. Representing the Czech Republic will be three talented players: Vojtěch Dušek, Jan Dolejš, and Kryštof Dušek.

MFG and Czech sport
Courage, growth, and professionalism are part of MFG’s DNA, which is why we support young athletes. Croquet, with its strong focus on concentration and precision, resonates perfectly with our values. Supporting the national croquet team is a natural part of our mission, and we’re proud to stand behind Czech sport and its rising talents.
Like our digital solutions, croquet is all about precision, strategy, and teamwork – key elements for success. We believe that whether in active movement, team sports, or individual disciplines, we all discover and push our limits, grow, and unlock creativity.
That’s also why a sporting spirit runs through MFG. Sports play an integral role in our company's teambuilding events. We organize golf tournaments for our partners and participate in initiatives like “Bike to Work.” For us, the passion for sport is tied to creative potential, inspiring us to reach new milestones.
What is croquet?
Croquet is a sport with a long-standing tradition – noble, almost royal. Its roots go back to England, but it has since spread worldwide. Players use wooden mallets to hit balls through hoops during the game. In golf croquet, the goal is to pass your ball through the designated sequence of hoops and complete seven successful runs before your opponent. The game blends accurate shot-making and strategic positioning, including knocking away the opponent’s balls.
To succeed in croquet, players must master technical skills and strategic thinking. In the Czech Republic, croquet is steadily gaining popularity, with more enthusiasts of all ages following the sport and actively playing it in their free time.
The tournament is happening this week, and we’re all cheering for our team. You can enjoy the live broadcasts via this link.
